The founder of Mangelda Retreats.
I am a Venezuelan journalist with a MD in Social Communication. In 1998, I left my home country and since then I have been living in different places around the world.
The moment came in which the structure of my life broke and I began to question myself about life and the meaning of my existence.
This was a clear wake-up call, the start of a new beginning, more in alignment with my purpose.
Yoga came to me as an opportunity to slow down. All of a sudden, after many years of running around, I became aware of the presence within me. I experienced a deep change, and so did my universe.
This revelation touched me in such an intense way, that I decided to dedicate my life to support the same process happening in other people. Helping them, creating the conditions, holding the space and sharing my own experiences and knowledge.
It is an amazing gift to see how my students find their way back home, reconnecting with their true essence: love, peace and compassion.
I am a RYT 500 certified Yoga Teacher on Yoga Corrective Exercise (YCE), Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Antastha Yoga, Anatomy, Physiology, Philosophy and Coaching.
Curious about energy and its healing properties, I completed the first level of Qi Gong practice. I am also certified by the Byron Katie School of the Work and by the first Eckhart Tolle School of Awakening.
Through the lectures, yoga and meditation sessions, I invite and encourage participants to be in the present moment and gain a deeper understanding of themselves.
More recently, the new discoveries in the field of neuroscience, quantum physics and epigenetic came to my life as a strong support and foundation to completely understand the experiences that I have been going through. The combination of this scientific approach, yoga and meditation practices, helped me realize the key role of perception in the creation and manifestation of our “reality”.
